Well today is the day....

Or it was supposed to be anyway. I got a call last week from Dr. T's nurse that they had to change it to Wednesday. ARG!!! I kept very busy this weekend cleaning my car, my house, and everything else hoping to "clean her out" but no luck. So I go in at 5 a.m. tomorrow, and if everything goes like it did with the boys, I will have a new baby girl around lunch. At least I hope it's still a girl!!! I've had several dreams the last few weeks that she was born a he! If that's true, he's going to be wearing lots of pink and looking pretty in his pink car seat and stroller! And no, she still doesn't officially have a name yet. Robert has one picked, but I haven't agreed yet. I sure hope something comes to me when I see her!

P.S. My home computer has been acting up the last few days (I think my son somehow got a virus on it) so if you don't get an update in the next few days, that's why. I don't know what I'm going to do at home for the next 5-6 weeks without a computer!!!!! I'm sure Charity will post something about her though, so just check her page! :) (Thanks for volunteering Sis!!! hahaha Love ya!)

The countdown is still on!

After a quick trip to L&D last friday, we're still counting down the days until the 22nd. 12 days until "Fred" will be here, if not before. I realized after lunch Friday that she hadn't been moving all morning and she is ALWAYS very active, so I decided to head to the hospital to get things checked out just in case. I would much rather be safe than sorry. Of course, as soon as I got there and they started trying to get everything hooked up, she went crazy! After about an half they sent me home. I was still dialated to a 2 on Friday, but when I went on Wednesday, I was at a 3. Of course, Dr. T. will be out of town all next week, so I'm sure that's when she will decide to come! I really want him to deliver her, so I'm going to try to hold her in there as long as I can.

Tomorrow is my baby boy's birthday. I can't believe he will be 8 years old!!! I will never forget how many years it has been since 9/11 because he was born the next day, no thanks to the dr. that just stuck his hands out to "catch" but wasn't even looking because he was too busy watching tv!! Not a good feeling seeing nothing but the back of your doctor's head when you are only 18 years old and having your first child! Sorry, had to rant!!! Have I mentioned how much I love Dr. T?!?! :) I'm so glad I was able to get in with him when I had Koy. Anyway, back to my son! Hahaha He wants to go to Prime Time for his birthday again, so I guess we will make a little family trip there tomorrow. I hope I don't walk her out while we are there. I would hate to have her on his birthday!

Ok, so I'm really just rambling so I'll just post a picture of the Halloween outfit and bow I made for "Fred" and be on my way!

That number on my countdown just keeps getting smaller!

Well, it's offical, "Fred" as we've been calling her because she still doesn't have a name, will be here on the 22nd, if not before. I went to the dr. today and I am already 2 cm. dialated and halfway thinned out. She is also head down and really low. Sorry if that's TMI for some of you!!! I just really hope she has a name by then!

A few of my friends had a shower for me yesterday and I got tons of really cute baby girl stuff. I'll post pictures of the shower when I get them off of my camera. I've been a little slow about things lately for some reason!

Some good news - Baby Cutter got to come home Saturday. Everything seems to be fine with him for now, but only time will tell. I haven't gotten to see him yet, but I'll probably make a trip tomorrow after work.

A new year and tons of changes to come.

My babies on the first day of 2nd grade and kindergarten. They both look super tired! Guess they played too hard yesterday. I really hope they have a good day. Kase wasn't too excited about going back! He says it's boring so I hope a new teacher and new stuff to learn will get him interested again. I'm really starting to get nervous about having 2 sets of homework every night, still spending time with my boys, and having a new baby. It's going to be a huge adjustment for everyone. At least we have a few weeks to get back into the swing of school before she gets here. My little boys are turning into big boys and before I know it I'll be watching them play football and then sending them off to college. :( I didn't cry this morning, but I think I will now! Dang these pregnancy hormones!!!

To make everyone happy.......

It only took me 35 weeks and 3 days but I'm finally posting a belly picture! Here is "M" and I comparing bellies at her shower today. She is due 5 days before me. 4.5 weeks tops and baby "no name" will be here! That's right, she STILL doesn't have a name.
After I took my shoes off. I didn't realize she was that much taller than me!

My baby boy starts Kindergarten tomorrow and my other baby will be in 2nd grade. They are growing up WAY too fast! After a long day of playing hard outside, they just got fresh hair cuts, finger nails trimmed and are headed to bed.

Update on Cutter

After several MRI's and other tests and scans they have determined that the bleeding has affected the left side of baby Cutter's brain and they say that it could affect his IQ, personality and motor skills (I think that's all they said). They really won't be able to tell anything for a while, until he gets old enough to start doing "normal" things such as rolling over, crawling, walking and so on. They have put him on anti-seizure meds and said that there is still some pressure on his brain that they may have to go in and relieve. They will do another scan next week to see if the swelling has gone down. He has been off the oxygen since Sunday and breathing on his own, is eating, moving his arms and legs, and sucking on a pacifier, all of which are very good. The doctors told them that usually babies with brain damage won't suck on a pacifier. "T" was released yesterday and came home for the night to get things ready at her house and eat a good meal and will go back today. Cutter will probably be there for another week or 2. Please continue to pray for them!

Please Pray for Baby Cutter

Our niece (one of the ones that is due the same time I am) has been at Harris for 4 weeks due to her amniotic fluid leaking. Yesterday she had an emergency c-section because the baby had quit moving. He was born around 5:00 yesterday (I think) and weighed 5 pounds. He was breathing on his own, but struggling a little so they took him to the NICU where he was on 25% oxygen and seemed to be doing good. They said his cord was not only wrapped around his neck, but all around his whole body. Today they have found that he has blood on his brain and in his spinal fluid. Tests are being done and a neurologist has been called in. Right now we are just waiting to find out what's going on and what will be done. Please pray pray pray.
