06-07-08 - Part 2 - We're having a baby!!!

Like I said - WHAT A DAY!! I've waited a while to post this - well at least until I told our parents, but Robert and I are going to have another baby!!! We found out the same day I went to get my car. I really was only going to look and maybe buy it, but when I saw that extra pink line that morning, I decided I was going to need the room, so I might as well do it now! If I figured it right, my due date will be Feb. 15th. Koy's birthday is Feb. 11th, so he is very excited that he is getting a baby (or four) for his birthday. He is telling everyone that I am having 4 babies - two boys and two girls. I finally figured out why he was saying that though. The smart little booger did the math and figured out that if I had 4 babies every seat in my car would be taken up. I finally talked him down to 2 by telling him that if we have 4, Daddy can't go with us. So he settled for 2, but he's not going any lower than that! Boy is he going to be dissapointed!!!

06-07-08 - My New Car!!!

6-7-8 - What a day! Isn't the internet great!?! I finally found the car I wanted, (an Expedition EL) with everything I wanted in it. Only one problem, it's in Norman, Oklahoma! So what did I do? Drove to Olney, dropped the boys off with Mom, drove to Whichita Falls, picked up Charity, and off to Oklahoma we went. She owed me, because I rode to Waco with her to get her new car. Plus, we take every opportunity we can get for some much needed "girl" time. I was hungry, so I pulled through Whataburger on the way out of town and had a wonderful conversation with the guy that worked there about how to order a cheesburger. Man, I sure wish I could have gone to the same school he did! I'll bet they have to have special training for that! And so you'll know, it's easier if you just say mayonaise only. They just don't understand "no vegetables"! But I guess that's what I get for being so picky! So, after the lesson on how to order a cheeseburger and a two and a half hour drive, we pull up to the dealership and are greeted by a man asking us if that is our Jeep. We say "yes". We're thinking wow, you're bright, since we both just drove up in the Jeep and got out of it. So he tells us "There's a bird in your grill". Ok, big deal, I hit a bird! We find the salesman I've been emailing all week and proceed to make the deal. We ended up staying in the dealership for four and a half hours, and while we were there, we got asked about that bird 4 MORE TIMES!!! What's the big deal!?!?!?! Finally after I had signed the papers and we were about the leave, the last guy asks "Is that your bird?" So I told him "Nope, it's your's now"! After they made me take a picture with my new car we FINALLY got to leave and headed back home. I guess it was all worth it though because I'm seriously loving my car. I can put one kid in the back and one in the middle and they can't reach each other. It is so nice and quiet now!! Koy and I had a few issues with the power running boards at first, but he's finally calmed down a little. I'll post pictures after I wash it. It's really dirty from Fandangle, but there is not sense in washing it before it's over!
