Boys, boys and more boys

This weekend Mike and Charity went to Lake Texoma so I kept Mason and Sam for them. We stayed at Mom and Dad's Friday night and then headed back to Albany Saturday because Robert got to come home. We decided to take a little road trip to Breckenridge Saturday night to see Diedre's new house and eat at McDonald's, so Robert and I loaded up all four boys and headed that way. While we were there, Robert told the boys they could put their feet in the pool, but two of them thought that their feet weren't enough! Mason just decided to go swimming in his clothes and Koy just wanted to sit in it. Luckily I hadn't unloaded Koy's suitcase yet, so we had dry clothes in the car. They really were good Charity, I promise!!! It was crazy having 4 boys in the house, but it kind of made me want more! I guess I just live for craziness and chaos! Monday morning Robert got up early and headed back to Snyder for another week or so. But to my surprise, when I was home for lunch he walked in the door! It was too muddy for them to move the rig so they had to come home until it stops raining and dries up. So it looks like Robert gets to be a cowboy again for the day. I went outside last night to find a horse trailer on his pickup and asked him what that was for and he said they were shipping today. I know this is a little mean, but I'd sure like to see him on that horse after not riding for over 8 months! I don't want him to get hurt at all, but I bet he's a little sore tonight!

Just an update

Robert left early Monday morning to drill in Snyder. It's not that far, but just far enough that they can't drive back every night so they have to stay there. This is the first time he's had to be gone and we are really missing him! And I know he's missing his boys. He's never been away from them for more than a couple of days. Sunday was my 25th birthday, so we spent the entire weekend together as a family. Saturday we took the boys and Kaeler to Prime Time. Of course I forgot my camera, so no pictures. Kaeler and Keatin ended up coming home with us to spend the night so after church Sunday we took them back to Abilene. After we dropped them off we headed to Lowe's to buy a deep freeze for the beef we bought. I bet we walked around Lowe's for 2 hours just looking at everything! It's going to be a while, but when we finally decide to remodel our kitchen (and hopefully add another bedroom) we aren't going to agree on a whole lot! He really surprised me on the kitchens he liked. O well, just more fun times to look forward to!
