To make everyone happy.......

It only took me 35 weeks and 3 days but I'm finally posting a belly picture! Here is "M" and I comparing bellies at her shower today. She is due 5 days before me. 4.5 weeks tops and baby "no name" will be here! That's right, she STILL doesn't have a name.
After I took my shoes off. I didn't realize she was that much taller than me!

My baby boy starts Kindergarten tomorrow and my other baby will be in 2nd grade. They are growing up WAY too fast! After a long day of playing hard outside, they just got fresh hair cuts, finger nails trimmed and are headed to bed.

Update on Cutter

After several MRI's and other tests and scans they have determined that the bleeding has affected the left side of baby Cutter's brain and they say that it could affect his IQ, personality and motor skills (I think that's all they said). They really won't be able to tell anything for a while, until he gets old enough to start doing "normal" things such as rolling over, crawling, walking and so on. They have put him on anti-seizure meds and said that there is still some pressure on his brain that they may have to go in and relieve. They will do another scan next week to see if the swelling has gone down. He has been off the oxygen since Sunday and breathing on his own, is eating, moving his arms and legs, and sucking on a pacifier, all of which are very good. The doctors told them that usually babies with brain damage won't suck on a pacifier. "T" was released yesterday and came home for the night to get things ready at her house and eat a good meal and will go back today. Cutter will probably be there for another week or 2. Please continue to pray for them!

Please Pray for Baby Cutter

Our niece (one of the ones that is due the same time I am) has been at Harris for 4 weeks due to her amniotic fluid leaking. Yesterday she had an emergency c-section because the baby had quit moving. He was born around 5:00 yesterday (I think) and weighed 5 pounds. He was breathing on his own, but struggling a little so they took him to the NICU where he was on 25% oxygen and seemed to be doing good. They said his cord was not only wrapped around his neck, but all around his whole body. Today they have found that he has blood on his brain and in his spinal fluid. Tests are being done and a neurologist has been called in. Right now we are just waiting to find out what's going on and what will be done. Please pray pray pray.

I know, I know!

It's been forever!!! Not a whole lot going on worth blogging about but I just wanted to let everyone know we are still alive. Fandangle is over, I'm getting bigger and it's getting hotter! I'll be 32 weeks on Thursday and you can bet I'm counting down the days. She still doesn't have a name but UPS just delivered my travel system (http://chiccousa.com/gear/travel-systems/cortina-30lb-systems/travel-systems-30-bella.aspx I had to get pink of course!) so it is really starting to feel like she'll actually be here soon. I've been super busy staying up late sewing the last few weeks. I want to try making something besides the dresses, but everyone just keeps wanting more dresses. I even sold one on Ebay! I have figured out how to make bows though, so I'm super excited about that. Hopefully I'll save myself a ton of money! Be prepared to laugh, because here is a picture of the bows I already have, and she's not even here yet! And these are just the bigger ones I had already ordered before I figured out how to make them. I have a bunch of smaller ones in a drawer already too!

And here are a few I've made. Not perfect, but I'm getting better.

Mom used our garage sale money from a while back and sent us with all the kids to Castaway Cove this weekend and then cooked steaks at Mike and Charity's after. Wow, that is a lot of kids!!! I ended up taking Sam and Katey home so hopefully everyone else had more fun after we left. It was great to be able to spend time with my whole family, even though Robert wasn't able to go. I'll post pictures of that after we get our water camera developed.

O yeah, one more exciting thing happening at my house - Robert is putting a fence up!!! I'm so excited! I never thought I'd get so excited over a fence!

It's TOO HOT for Fandangle!!!

Just three more nights! I can make it, I can make it, I can make it! I may even take a few pictures of my kids tonight, and if you're lucky, maybe even one of me!!! Don't hold your breath though! :)

Here are some more dresses I've made for some of the little girls at Fandangle. They picked what they wanted and I made them. Just don't look too close because I'm still working on getting them just right!!! I'm thinking about trying to sell a few on Ebay after I get them perfected. It's a good way to try to make money instead of spending it I guess!

Is it September yet!?!

We've been super busy with Fandangle practice every night, but somehow in between the practices until midnight, work, and trying to keep my house semi-picked up, I'm officially done with the baby bedding. I found more fabric that went with the rest of it and made a sheet, which I think made a big difference! I finally got the ribbon trim around the bottom too.

I took the leftover fabric to Mom this weekend so she can get started on the quilt and she sent me home with lots of clothes she had saved that were mine.

She made this one for me

I bought this to bring her home in, but now I think I may use the one my Mom made. It would mean more and it's so sweet!

I guess I've been feeling really crafty lately because now that I'm done with the bedding, I just can't stop. I made this dress for Hannah, just to see if I could. Of course, Robert made fun of it, but what does he know!!!

I also made this blanket with extra stuff I had.

And I started on these bow holders at lunch, but this is as far as I got before I had to go back to work. I would have used her name, and probably still will, but since she STILL doesn't have a name, I just got the letters for "bows". This is just using some extras I had laying around. When I get my bedding fabric back and she gets a name, I'll make some with her name and use the stuff that matches the bedding.

I guess that's it for now. I take Kase back to the doctor tomorrow to see if we get the cast off, or just a new one, and then it's Fandangle, Fandangle, Fandangle for the next two weeks solid! I'm so tired!!!

Well it only took us 7 1/2 years but....

we finally broke something! Kase "fell off" the bunk bed at Robert's mom's Thursday and fractured his wrist. I took him to the clinic here in town but the doctor wasn't in so they couldn't do an x-ray. I just love small towns! Ugh! Koy had an appointment the next morning for a checkup so I just took Kase along and let her look at his wrist while we were there. She felt around on it and he didn't even flinch so she said she thought it was okay, and to come back in a week if it was still bothering him. Saturday morning he woke up with a knot on it, so I decided to go ahead and take him to Dr. J's, and sure enough, fractured bone! After dealing with a splint and a sling for 5 days, we finally got an appointment with a bone and joint doctor and got a cast put on it. MUCH BETTER!!! He said he'll probably only have to wear it for 3-4 weeks. And I also paid the extra $25 for a waterproof one so he can still give himself a bath and swim.

This is Koy on the way to the doctor's office. I almost had a wreck from laughing when I looked in my mirror and saw this! Of course he got mad because I was laughing so this is the picture I got at the stop sign! I'll have to post a picture of Kase later.
