7 Months and Name my Blog

No dr. visit this month, so I don't know height and weight, but I'm pretty sure she's kind of leveled off since she grew quite a bit really quick.  She is still growing for sure, just not as much as she was.

Clothes: Still 6-9 and 9-12 months, but some of the 6-9 sizes are getting a little snug.

Food: She has started on the 2nd foods and can eat a whole jar for lunch and supper.  She loves to eat, and seems to like the veggies more than the fruits.

She is rolling everywhere, has started sleeping on her tummy now that she's figured out that she can, and has started getting up on her knees the last few days.  It's all happening so quick.  I want her to stay little!!!

First ponytail (if you really want to call it that!): April 23

Waved Bye Bye: April 15

Clapped:  April 24

3rd Tooth (Top left "fang"):  April 20  The other three on top are soooo close.  I can see them, just can't feel the points yet.  I think within the next few days she will have 6 teeth through!  As you can see, 4 teeth at a time is not a lot of fun!

But sometimes having a bottle helps!  (And tylenol!)  (It's soooo scary how much she looks like her daddy.......)

She loves her books (Notice the tylenol? haha  No, I was not letting her play with it!  I took it out of her bed as soon as I took the picture.)

I took Koy to the dr last week because he was running fever and he ended up having strep throat.  Poor guy got the head phones on but that was as far as he made it, never even got a movie in the player!
And I just noticed that his straps are twisted.......that drives me CRAZY!!!

On another note, I'm adding a poll so my sidebar so I want you to vote on my names!  Thank you!

I need name suggestions.......and not for a baby this time!

I think it's time for me to start up a "craft" blog to seperate my personal life from my sewing life!  Any suggestions on names?

Tara's New Diaper Bag

M wants me to make a diaper bag for miss Kamryn, so I made a "practice" one today.  Let's just say I learned a lot!  haha  I used what I had left of the fabric I made her bloomers out of, so I'm sure that will look real cute when she's wearing that and I'm carrying the bag!  People will probably think I'm crazy!

When you find your cell in the fridge....

.....it's time to go to bed!  I stayed up a little late last night sewing, but when I got up to get a drink and found my cell phone in the fridge, I decided it was time to go to bed!  But I did get this done.  I've been wanting to try some bloomers with ruffles on them for a while so I finally gave it a shot.  I definately learned a little!!!  But she wore it today with her black Converse shoes all blinged up with leapord laces......soooo cute!  Just wanted to share!  :)

Easter 2010

I'm only about a week late getting this posted, but at least I'm getting it done!  We had a great Easter and the weather was just beautiful!  Not a lot to say about it, so here's a bunch of pictures!

My babies - Yes, this is the best picture I could get.  They were WAY to busy to stop and take a good picture for me!

Tara and her Daddy

All the kids ready for the big hunt

She was pretty sure she didn't want to sit in that grass!

But I guess she decided it would be okay

Kase

Koy

The girls on the "vintage" couch in the barn

These two are a mess!

Kamryn, Cutter & Tara

I'm pretty sure Kamryn had something really important to tell them!

All the babies - Kamryn, Cutter, Tara and Cole

Koy was showing them how to use the silly string.  They seemed pretty darn interested!

Tuckered out after a long day!

6 Months

I took Tara for her 6 month checkup and Koy for his 6 year checkup.  Dr. says everything is great although I did get in trouble for letting her sit in a walker!  Blah blah blah!  I guess that's what is wrong with my boys!!!  I let them sit in walkers and now they are ruined for life!

Koy
Weight:  51 lbs.

Tara
Weight: 15 lbs. 4 oz.

Height: 26.5 inches

Clothes: 6-9 and 6-12 months.  We finally put the newborn onsie on for the last time.  I could still get it buttoned, but it was tight.  And you can see her little belly poking out!

Second Tooth (Bottom Left):  March 12

First baby food:  Carrots - March 25.  She loved them and ate the whole jar!  She's been ready to eat for quite a while now but I've been waiting for the doctor to say go.

This was after the first bite.  It took her a couple
to decide for sure if she liked them or not!

She's been able to roll both ways for a while (when she really wants to) but she just started really going yesterday.  Next is crawling and then we're all in trouble!

This is Koy's attempt at taking a picture of her!  Haha

And this was Kasey's

See my curl?

Boys will be boys and boy is mine a boy!  This is where his teeth went through his lip (not all the way, but close) when he ran into a pole playing football at school!  When the nurse called I heard her tell him to put the ice back on it.  He had taken it off to show all the other boys his battle wounds.  I guess he was pretty proud of it!  The place above his lip is where he fell off the dog while trying to ride her like a bull.  Poor Hallie!  And he's got several more scratches and scars above the nose!  If I survive until my boys turn 18 it will be a miracle!

(Yuck!  It looks like he needs to start brushing better too!!!)

Thanks Danita and Whitney!

I just wanted to say thanks to Danita for send me some pictures of things to try! I tried one of them, and I'm actually pretty proud of myself. I think it turned out pretty good. I hope you like it! I've decided I can pretty much make anything (so far) as long as I have a picture to look at. This is how I made Tara's bedding. I didn't have a pattern, so I just made my own and learned as I went. I did the same with the dress. It may not be done "right" but it's easier for me to just do things my own way, rather than try to understand someone else's directions! Also, Whitney wants me to try some overalls so she is on the lookout for some to alter. I really don't have time to be doing all this, between my full time job and my other full time job as a mom/wife, but I just can't help myself! I love doing things for other people and making them happy, even though I'm always worried that it's/I'm never good enough! And I NEVER thought I would say this, but I love sewing too! I guess it's just in my blood. So anyway, keep those ideas coming, cause I love a challenge (usually)!

Miss Brie's dress. I hope they like it!
