My Little Ballerinas

Robert's aunt teaches dance here in Albany, and she got the girls these tutus when they were born.  We wanted to get some pictures of them in front of the backdrop before the recital without her knowing, but we couldn't ever get in without her being there.  So we decided to just do them while she was there, in between practices.  It was very entertaining trying to get a good picture of 2 8 month olds and about 30 high school girls watching!  Out of 192 pictures, these are a few of the ones that were "okay".  Most of these though, are just plain funny!

I guess she was upset that Kamryn was "touching her"!

And there is the tounge!  Kamryn was just doing perfect and Tara was being a TOOT!

8 Months

Well, I'm only about 2 weeks late posting this, but I guess it's better late than never!  Tara is 8 months old now.

Weight:  Last time I took her, which was several weeks ago, she weighed 18 lbs 14 oz.

Clothes:  12 Month and even a few 18 month

Food:  Still eating baby food like a champ, and has tried a few different table foods.  I haven't found anything she doesn't like yet!

She has started trying to crawl, and has almost got it down.  She gets up on her knees and rocks, but when she wants to go it's down to the army crawl.  She just started going from laying down to sitting on her own, and is starting to try to pull up. 

She's got 6 teeth, 4 on top, and 2 on bottom. 

 

She is a MESS and full of personality!!!

I guess he's scared of my driving!

I was taking pictures of Hannah in the outfit I made her and she had to have one with Tara of course.  You can tell she was thrilled!

We got the boys a little pool for MaMa's house this summer and set it up Monday.  She wasn't too crazy about the water at first, but I guess once she warmed up she loved it.

Track Meet

The boys had their track meet at school yesterday and I think it's safe to say we've got one pretty good athlete on our hands, and one, um, well.........hahaha O how I love my boys!!!

It's always close with those two.  I can't wait for high school!  I'm ready for some FOOTBALL!!!  He may be little, but he's a tough little toot!

Catfish and Mud

We were suppsoed to go camping this weekend, so Thursday night we made a little trip to Abilene for a few cart full of supplies.  We ended up not going because of the rain, but Robert still took the boys fishing Saturday.  He called and told me to meet him at Larry's with my camera because the boys wanted me to take pictures of the fish they caught.  Honestly, I didn't expect a lot, but I was pretty proud of them when I got there!  Kase caught two of them (the two big ones according to him) and Koy caught one too.  Of course we had catfish for supper and Koy, the pickiest child in the WORLD ate it!!!

Koy was pouting because he didn't want to hold them.  He was afraid they would bite his finger off!

We finally convinced him it was okay but he still wasn't too sure!

They are going to love looking back at this picture when they are older!

I decided that I needed some pictures to go with my new name, so here are a few of the results!  I'm sure you are all thinking I'm crazy or even mean but I would not and did not hurt my baby!  I actually thought she would like it, but I guess the cool water was not her idea of fun!

If looks could kill!!!  I don't know what she was thinking, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't nice!

These two were taken Friday night but it started raining on us so this was all I got.  I guess I was feeling brave because we tried it again on Sunday! 

But she did finally calm down a little and I got several cute pictures and hopefully I haven't ruined her for life!

If you know me at all, you know that I like to jump into things, before I'm really ready. So yes, I did it again. I was sooooo ready to start my new blog and I wasn't convinced on the name, but I started it anyway. Well now I've finally decided for sure on a name so I'm moving one more time, and then I'm done! So, the new name is...........drumroll please...........----------->

Mother's Day

Saturday the kiddos and I headed to Lakeside City to take a load of stuff for the citywide garage sale in a couple of weeks.  We stayed up pretty late pricing clothes and then got up Sunday morning and headed to Olney to surprise my mom by showing up at church.  Here are a few pictures we took after church.
